I would just like to wish everyone a very happy new year.

I'm not big on new year resolutions as I don't understand why people think you can only decide one day of the year to make major changes to your life. If we're honest most people resolutions revolve around diet, money and job!! Instead I have a to do list for this year...

Don't buy when I can make
Use up some of the massive amount of materials I have in my craft room
Learn a new craft (this is beading as I am signing up for classes this week)
Make more lovley friends in blog land

I'm afraid I am suffering from post christmas blues at the moment after having a very forgetable christmas and can't wait for things to get back to normal. Although I will put off taking down my decs and tree as long as possible as I love sitting in the lounge in the dark with just my christmas lights twinkling.
I hope all of you were more fortunate with you christmas's and had a wonderful time. I'm sure I am just suffering a temporary glitch and normal service will resume shortly...

Sorry I have been very remiss and haven't thanked my secret santa for the lovely gifts she sent me. I was overwhelmed by your generousity. I will post piccies later.

I agree!
A to-do list sounds much more achievable as well

Happy New Year Pene! Hope it's a good year for you! I don't have any new year's resolutions either, but think making a to do list is a great idea! Looking forward to seeing what you make at beading classes! :) x

These short dark days don't help with the blues, do they?
Happy New Year to you.

Happy New Year Pene x

I must admit I would like to move the furniture back and reclaim the space where the tree stands. But the twinkly lights in the late afternoon early evening just make it sooo cosy.

Not going to make resolutions either, just a list of things I would like to achieve this year x
