In amongst the bag making and crocheting recently I have also been doing some beading. I attend a class on a Monday night run by a lovely lady and very talented beader called Mairi Calton. Every week she comes up with something different for us to do.
This is the loveley braclet she had us do this week..
This bracelet is freeform which I actually loved doing as although you make a right angle weave mesh for the basis of the bracelet you then randomly attach a mash of beads, bugles, crystals, pearls etc onto the top.
It's great if you don't have time to finish it in one go as there is no pattern to the top, you can just pick it up add a few random beads and put it down again.
Can't wait to see what we'll be doing this week!!

They're beautiful, you must have good eyesight! My friend makes beautiful necklaces and when I went to the craft centre with her I couldn't believe how expensive the beads were.
How long before Daisy is sporting a beaded collar?? xx
That's very pretty:)
I've just had a sneaky peek at your Etsy shop. I love the cup and saucer pin cushion, i may have to buy one of those! x
