Home and I'm in heaven

Can't beleive we've been home a week and our holiday now seems like a distant dream. We had amazing weather, boat was lovely and the llangollen canal was great. Daisy had a lovely time and didn't mind wearing her lifejacket even though it was very hot

I got heaps of driving? practice and by the end had stopped bumping into stationery objects like bridges and locks lol

Went over the Pontcysyllte aquaduct which I'm sure is great for anyone who isn't terrified of heights!! Me and daisy hid in the front bit of the boat..

Had a couple of lovely days in Llangollen

And made some new friends

Can't wait till we can go again!!

Well anyway back to the renovations at home and the endless painting, it's all finished yipee and yesterday finally got my gorgeous carpets fitted!! After 4 months of walking on bare floors and coping with permanent dust I now feel like I'm walking on this lovely soft bouncy cushion "heaven".

Maybe now I can finally get on with some crafting
