Beware seaweed hurts!!

Woke up this morning full of joy, today the MIL was going home, G will be back at work tomorrow, my arm was starting to feel better and at last I'll be able to get on with some crafting.
I sprung out of bed, got showered and onced I'd persuaded Daisy that 9.30 was a perfectly resonable time for a small dog to get up, set off down the beach. The tide was out, the sun was shining, what more could I ask for??
Well I know what I didn't and that was the seaweed covered rocks, I only really noticed them as I was flying through the air before landing in a large rock pool. Was I wet oooh yes from head to toe, did I hurt myself? well I now have some very interesting bumps under my left knee, abit like having extra kneecaps? But what I really hurt was my elbow, think I hit the funny bone as I landed which wasn't funny!!
So then had to walk Daisy all soaking wet and drive home all soaking wet (my car now doesn't just look like a beach with the permenant 2inchs of sand it also smells like one).
But mustn't grumble the MIL has gone home and G will be back to work in approx 12hours and then I'm going to CRAFT!!!

Poor you, hope your crafting takes your mind off it. Just wanted to say thank you so much for my lovely gifts. My daughter has commandeered both the love hearts and the gorgeous doggy (she's taken the dog to bed to cuddle) - s'not fair!

Oh Pene! You poor sausage! I really hope you're alright tomorrow! When I was married, when the MIL left I would run round the house whooping like an indian in a John Wayne film! Then I'd be very sensible and grown up.....honest.. not flinging my self about on seaweed! No Pene! I think you should put your feet up and do something really worthy and boring, like...Hmmn..crafting maybe? I know it's hard but someone's got to do it! Lots of love, Amanda xxx
