It never rains but it pours

January definately hasn't been a good month for me. First the damage from the winds with the fence being wiped out. Then G bursting a pipe whilst digging holes for the new fence posts. Then yesterday I received news that my mother in law had passed away saturday night in Northern Ireland. I should say that this isn't G's mum it's my first MIL. So I spent most of yesterday trying to arrange for children to travel from the midlands up to me so that we could then all go across to Ireland together. If I'm honest she wasn't my favourite person but she looked after my son for awhile and for that I'll always be grateful. I think I'm going mainly as a support for my FIL who is a lovely sweet man but am dreading seeing my ex as it's been about 12yrs since the last time.
Needless to say I am slightly stressed so will be taking a break from blogging till this is all behind us.
Take care.

Oh Pen, it is hard to deal with the grief of others, particularly when you love the people grieving.

Re your ex - you have lost a ton of weight, wear your nicest outfit, something that you feel nice in and show him that your life is wonderful xx
