Photo catchup

For a change I have lots of photos in fact I think I'll have to save some for tomorrow!! First up are some of the items I bought at Hobbycraft and Creative stitches at the SECC last week..
There was more but I'm too embarrased to show everything lol

Then some of the makes I've made the last couple of weeks, after all those crochet hook cases I'm now busy with knitting needle cases!!

A few cards never go amiss..
And a bag for me! ( G wants to know what I need this one for as I have a knitting bag, a crochet bag, a beading bag, a bag for stitch and bitch, a swimming bag, a keepfit bag, lots of shopping bags and lets not go into the number of handbags)
I'm just going to call it my "just because bag!"

As we all know sunday is mothers day and as my mummy and daddy are coming up tomorrow to stay for 10 days I made her an extra special present (or two)
A vintage style bag ( the rose fabric is Sandersons and recyled from a chair my gran had so extra special)
 A covered notebook to match
 Glasses and tissue cases
And the of course a card!
I hope she 'll be pleased as I made everything for her to take when she goes into hospital in a couple of months for her surgery. My Mum has become profoundly deaf over the last decade to the extent that she has no hearing in one ear and only 7% in the other. This has made her become very reserved and introverted so we're all excited that she has finally be accepted to have a cochlia implant (sorry not sure how to spell it). I know she is very worried about the operation and hope this might at least give her something to smile about.
As if she doesn't have enough on her plate with the op, her and my dad have decided to move so are putting their house up for sale. At the moment they live in Wales but when they are up this next week we will be busy viewing houses here as they have decided they want to live round the corner from me here on the West Coast of Scotland! I have to admit to being thrilled at the prospect as I've missed them terribly since we moved back 7yrs ago.

Okay that's enough for today, Daisy is giving me evils as I'm obviously making for to much noise typing when she's trying to sleep!!

How lovely to have your mummy living back in the same town as you. I live about 30 miles from my mum now and miss her loads!

Fingers crossed the operation went ok. It will be strange for your mum to hear again, i bet she will be telling you all to shhhhhh!

All the best!
